To Join Freemasonry, you must:

Be male, and at least 18 years of age.

Believe in a supreme being. People from all religious backgrounds are welcome.

Have high morals. This is the most important quality to have as a potential Freemason. Personal integrity and responsibility are held in high esteem. You must be able to demonstrate that you are a man with good character.

To become a member, just ask. 

Traditionally the way of joining Freemasonry is to be invited by someone who is already a member, however, in the more modern world this may not be feasible.

So if you don’t know someone who is a member, use our Contact box on the home page, and we can start discussions with you.

Becoming a Freemason is not completed in an instant, we will meet with you to get to know you, and to understand your reasons for wanting to join. We also need to explain more about what Freemasonry is all about. We must admit, it is not for everyone.

We are keen to grow our membership, but you have to be committed and right for Freemasonry, as much as Freemasonry has to be right for you.
